This is an original painting of a Silverback Gorilla by British Wildlife Artist Alan M Hunt. The painting was originally done as a commission for a client. The painting aims to portray the beauty and strength of the silverback mountain gorillas in Rwanda. The gorilla's striking pose and fearful glare tell the story of alpha males and their battle to remain at the top of their family group/
About Alan M Hunt
Alan M Hunt is an internationally acclaimed wildlife artist that has been painting original artwork of birds and mammals since his early teens. Alan M Hunt is a trained zoologist and photographer who is able to paint amazing paintings of animals and wildlife that are unparallelled with his hyper-realism and photorealism style. Alan M Hunt mainly paints in acrylic but has painted in gouache, egg tempera and watercolour with a few studies of proposed paintings firstly done in pencil / graphite.
